Golf & Gala
The ziMS Foundation held their Sixth Annual Gala and Golf Tournament November 4th and 5th, 2011. This year’s Gala was held Friday November 4th at the Virginia Beach Hilton Oceanfront from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.. The event featured both a Silent and Live auction. Some of the Silent Auction items included pet gift baskets, garden gift baskets, autographed sports memorabilia, sport camps, Redskin tickets, and much more. Live Auction items included: weekend trip to Atlantis Bahamas, experience the taping of PTI (Pardon the Interruption), a Washington Nationals game including batting practice, stadium tour, and goodie bag, and much much more! The evening began with heavy hors d’oeuvres followed by a buffet dinner and dancing, music by Hotcakes. The Golf Tournament was held November 5th at Redwing Lake Golf Course with a mid- morning shot gun start.
